What this covers
These terms explain what you can expect from Folkfair, and what we expect from you, when you browse events or create an account.
What Folkfair is
Folkfair is a community noticeboard for local events. Anyone can browse events. Signed-in organisers can add and manage events.
Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done through your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
Event listings
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of the events they post. We do not guarantee that an event will happen as listed, and we are not a party to any event — we just publish the listing.
RSVPs
When you RSVP, you are letting the organiser know you plan to attend. It is not a ticket or a guarantee of entry, and it does not create a contract between you and Folkfair.
Acceptable use
Do not post false, misleading, or harmful event listings, and do not use the site to collect people's information for anything other than planning the event they RSVP'd to. We may remove listings or accounts that break these rules.
No warranty
Folkfair is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
